What we store
Your account (name, email, a hashed password), your inventory (properties, rooms, assets, maintenance, expenses, repairs), and the files you upload (photos, manuals, receipts, warranties). All of it exists so the app can do its job: keeping the ownership history of your things.
AI processing
When you scan a photo or upload a document, that image or file is sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) to read labels, extract fields, or find manuals. It is used to answer your request, not to train models on your data.
Aggregated product data
If cross-user product statistics (typical lifespans, failure rates) are ever shown, they are computed from anonymized, aggregated data only. Nothing that identifies you, your home, or your individual records is ever exposed to other users.
What we don't do
We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or give other users access to your records. Every query in the system is scoped to your account.
Backups & retention
Encrypted-at-rest server backups are kept for disaster recovery. Deleting your account removes your records from the live system; backup copies age out on the backup rotation schedule.
